Hublot, a luxury watch brand headquartered in Nyon, Switzerland, and named after the French word for "bullseye," was established in 1980 by the Italian entrepreneur Carlo Crocco. Carlo Crocco successfully merged Italian design sensibilities with Swiss craftsmanship, resulting in the creation of unconventional timepieces. Although their initial success was modest, the company's journey eventually transformed into a remarkable success story. Through ingenious marketing strategies and groundbreaking concepts, Hublot emerged as a "Rising Star" among Swiss watchmakers. The pivotal moment came in 2005 with the introduction of the Hublot Big Bang Chronograph, which made a significant impact on the world of horology. This timepiece garnered numerous accolades in watchmaking and design competitions due to its innovative use of materials such as carbon, ceramics, titanium, and tantalum. Hublot is also renowned for its partnerships with notable ambassadors and captivating marketing initiatives, including its foray into the world of football. Since 2008, Hublot has held the official timekeeping role for the European Football Championship, and, since 2010, for the FIFA World Cup. Another significant collaboration began in 2013 when the brand teamed up with former American basketball legend Kobe Bryant. Together, they designed the Big Bang Unico Chronograph Retrograde Kobe "Vino" Bryant and the Kingpower Black Mamba model. Hublot's illustrious list of brand ambassadors includes the legendary Brazilian footballer Pelé, who was awarded the title of "World Footballer of the 20th Century" by FIFA and is widely regarded as the greatest footballer of all time. To commemorate the 2016 Olympic Games, Hublot unveiled two limited edition models in their Big Bang collection: the Ceramic Usain Bolt and the Yellow Gold Usain Bolt. Since 2010, Usain Bolt, the Jamaican sprinting sensation who claimed three gold medals at the 2016 Rio Olympics, has been a proud brand ambassador for Hublot.
