About the Brand

The quality and longevity of Sheffield clocks are also remarkable, as many of these clocks are still in use today. These clocks are now auctioned online and displayed and sold in antique shops and jewellery shops around the world. They can be battery-operated, but most are wind-up models. Although the branding may not sound like it, Sheffield watches with mechanical tools were made exclusively in Switzerland. However, intended for the English and American markets, Sheffield was also known in Central Europe far beyond the borders of Switzerland.
